Got ya. Is it a lot of work?

Yup. lol. I wanna use stronger stuff but I don't want to take off the white paint too.

when I painted the hood, I didn't even prep it, I just cleaned it and sprayed but that was back in Feb or March so its sat for awhile.

Paint the CF hood and leave some thing written in the CF, I love that look.

I was thinking about that...but iono if I wanna dumb 200+ to have cf writting.

I like that look too, but ya, it's alot to basically just have a CF roll call. Bigwoofer did it and it looked great. I wouldn't do it myself because I don't like convering up CF that much, I like to see more of the raw CF on my own car. 90% of the time, people buy CF hoods because of the look, not the weight saving.

What are you using for it? Gasoline?

Lmao. Put that sucker on fire afterwards. lol.

Edit: Oh yea i tried that camber trick u told me and it worked. I got no rubbing issues for now. I actually have alittle more space to lower it but im trying to resist.

damn, that looks like a lot of work cleaning up that hood. i'm also curious how the white paint is holding up?

I'm curious too. Would the clear between the white and black not get thinned out in places too?? Would you need to do a really light polish on the hood afterwards? I'm sure it'll need a real good coat of wax after too.

Yeah there are spots popping up, which I expected but I plan on waxing afterwards. If all else, just re-spray the hood later.

totally understand the switch back to the white hood, but i'll miss that CF hood. it looks damn good on your ride!
