Not gonna lie, that neon in the footwells is kinda weird. Although my personal preference is to have everything black but the radio screen and the gauges in the car when I'm driving at night...nobody can see me. 
My car's pretty dark as it is but I always like the dark and if the whole thing was "murdered out" (on the interior) it would be damn close to perfect!

Haha, that would be cool. I always thought it would be cool to hook up a stealth mode in the car. All exterior and interior lights would completely stop working except for the speedo.

And the headlight bulbs.
Like you drive along and hit a switch up once to kill every light but the speedo and headlight bulbs and then hit it up again (like a 3 mode switch) and it takes out the headlights too. That would be so fly!

Dub, I've looked at your car a few times, I really like what you did with it. Hell of a long thread too. Definitely interested in seeing what you've got planned in the future for it.

It doesn't seem that hard to do, I mean just hook up a relay to a switch that kills these light fuses when it's in mode "1" and kills these other light fuses when in mode "2"...we should look into that. Probably hella illegal but who cares! It's awesome!

A lot of rally guys do that. Alex Roy had that on his decked out M5 that he drove cross-country.
That Saab thing was a 'night' button, that was supposed to mimic a pilots view at night. Useless, but cool.

Hmmmmmmmmmm....I may have to really look into that, now I see why Mazda left a blank button slot on the GT's.
Only 80-160kmh? What if you go slower or faster than that? I think it should only light it up from 160-220kmh. lolSaab's night button kills all the light in the interior and the only thing thats lighted is the speedo from 80-160kmh.

The "night" button is probably the coolest but most useless thing any car manufacturer has ever wasted their money on. Hands down.
best part of retro number 2, it hasn't cost a dime out of pocket.
After selling my ECU, exhaust, header, and a few stock parts, it won't have cost me a dime out of pocket for the lights for parts or labor

HAHAHAHAHA!!! I wonder if that would work...(silly)It was made for long trips on highway, so they didnt count that you're gonna drive slower then 80... And if cops catch you, you can always say "i didnt see how fast i was going, my speedo doesnt work"

My RIGHT tail light is out for delivery right now and my left one hasn't even been sent. Fail.
I received an e-mail and they said the left one should ship today so as long as it does get shipped today, I will get it tomorrow. Then they will head off to West Coast Image for a professional black out with the chrome left clear.
A few days ago I received my random parts package from Dubby, I was able to finally get rid of my last beige seat belt, fix my little dash-to-center console fitment issue and I also got a hide-a-way cup holder now instead of the traditional ones.
The gear shifter piece was white when I got it so I painted it black but the top got messed up so after removing the paint, the lid part is very rough now but black. I'll probably be looking into getting another one seeing as mind feels like sand paper.
I've also started saving some dough for my headliner so when I get paid this Friday, I will have enough to get my black suede headliner. I will just have to make an appointment.
Oh yeah, and the dash, I had a tight schedule with the girlfriend this weekend so I was unable to swap the dashes. I might have to help my dad move next weekend so I don't even know if I'll get to do it or not next weekend. The thought of swapping them out still gets me nervous, I feel as if this will be the most difficult thing I've ever done to the car.
