Like I said, I don't do it that much cause I know that's not what it was made for. I've heard of others who do it all day everyday and haven't had issues, but that's them.
As of today, my tranny has yet to give me any issues *knock on wood*
Lol well just go ahead and do the manual swap and downshift all you want =)
BC's still in transit?
When it does, then you can finally do your 5 speed swaP! (wiggle)
wow i plan to do the same stuff.
dub, do you know if it would be worth it to wait for an msp to find its way to the graveyard for me to take the tranny outta that?
or if the p5/3g protege's tranny is just as good for moderate boost. (like up to 11 pounds)
because i know i'll eventually want to boost and i dont want to have to rebuy everything.
depends how much it was lowered. stock struts don't respond well to dropping more than about an inch usually, and blow out soon after...i saw a lowered camry today that kept bouncing up and down on the highway from bumps,
doesn't that mean the owner got lazy and just cut the springs.
because i dont understand that, its really hard for me to comprehend why they couldn't just save up 200$ and actually do a somewhat nice job.
thats the best way.. but aftermarket shocks usually respond better to being dropped.so the only true way to achieve reliable performance is with coilovers.
