WTF tornadoes in Febuary??

I'm trying to leave so I can go to Champaign @ 2:30 when I turn around and see a tornado watch. Not a big deal but I decided to wait. Good thing because I would have been in Kankakee when the damn thing hit. Anyone ever remember having tornado in Feburary? I dont.

It ain't just Chicago man..I got hella wind like 60MPH+ right now and lightning with the threat of hail....What is up this year...I guess the good thing was it topped out at 60 degrees today.

we had warnings today. I guess one tornado by kankakee and funnells over romeoville.

yeah but it was perfect timing for my 4th period geography class. we got to talk about dew points, humidity, the jet stream, hadley cells, cold fronts, etc.
