i know there is a guy selling ONE driver's side for cheap

you could always go that route and wait to find a second

Just a thought.

OR, for $135, buy a set of Depo sedan headlights off ebay, i did for both retros i've got

I have the full set for a 2000 Mazda Protege I could sell to you for $35 shipped although they are slightly aged and have some haze which apparently can be cleaned up and fix.

the 2000 protege has the 2pcs headlight/turnsignals right?

Those won't work on the P5

if they are the one pcs headlights, shoot, i suggest snatching em up if anything just as test pcs, then, if it works, order a set of depo's for final setup

For the projectors to be uber sexy, i'd HIGHLY suggest the brand new lenses from ebay. Then, the day you buy em, slap rock blocker or laminx headlight overlays (clear) to prevent any hazing/yellowing/rock chips

Yeah i figured you wanted the 2001 and up but correct they are the 2pc and won't work for the P5 sorry didn't know it was a P5 project.

i'm just clearing up for the OP.

If he's lookin for 2000 headlights, you sir are golden! lol

lol thanks for clearing that up but yeah I have them in my garage with some other stored car stuff. Pro5x2 you are located north of south florida and south of north florida haha thats kinda funny but I assume is a good neutral location. Will you be showing up for the SU mazda meet next month? I don't know if Street Unit is even allowed here on these forums which brings me to another question haha is it allowed here?

Sorry to jack this thread guys I'll stop now :P

SU is banned from here, yeah, sorry

Where's the meet? Hit me via PM

I'm in Port Saint Lucie, FL, about 2 hours south of ya, but, born and raised in Longwood

Just to clarify, in need of 2001-2003 Protege headlight assemblies for an ES, not a P5. Thanks for the replies so far.

Alrighty, i've got ebay Depot housings on both my retros, no problems so far

The only thing is you can't mix-match parts between OEM and Depot, trust me on this one

also, the BRAND NEW headlights can be covered with a headlight overlay RIGHT AWAY avoiding all rock chips, scratches, hazing

ANY used headlights you'll buy will already be scratched, hazed, yellowed (May not LOOK that way when off, but, flip the lights on and you'll see what i mean)

x2 If you don't wanna go ebay you could always get them from onlinemazdaparts.com. Be ready to pay out at least twice as much though.

A little plastic cleaner and some elbow grease and no issues (within reason).

Appreciate the help, but I'm going to stick with the OEM on this.

No prob bud, just speaking from experience is all.

But, GL with the retro! Have a retro thread started? What's your plans?

I did not read this whole thread but i have a set of stock head lamps, in brand new condition i will sell for 100 plus shipping.

oh snap, there ya go!!!

I just HIGHLY suggest getting Xpel or Rockblocker clear overlays to protect the headlights for future use

hey if your still looking i have set of headlights from my MSP but one has a broken tab if your interested just pm'd me

Looking for 2002 Protege ES OEM headlights -- preferably with no broken bits/pieces.
