the border will charge you the book value or your receipt's value, whichever is higher... so a $5000 receipt won't work
and there's the question of the odometer.. technically, it's supposed to read in KPH, not MPH - depending on the anal retentiveness of the CBS mech. you use, you might have to slap in a new cluster for the certification portion (then swap back in the MPH cluster)

Hey guys ya know whats funny...when i go to the states and drive 100mph get pullled over and say well thats the speed limit in Canada....lol some of those southern cops dont have a clue and ...haha i get away with it...lol
you could buy mine, it has 24k miles, one small dent on the passenger side rear quarter panel (quoted at $125 to fix but it doesnt really bother me so i haven't fixed it), the typical small scratches that any other color wouldn't show but since it's black you get to see them. other than that all stock, plus i have winter wheels/tires (nokian hakk q's i think on steelies). probably half of the miles were on the winter tires so the stock tires are fine, and i have new spark plugs and pcv valve on my desk right in front of me but im waiting until my next oil change to put them in
i'll take some pics when the weather around here isn't so bad, maybe tomorrow i'll be able to catch a break and it'll be nice for a little while. asking price is $15k US with winter wheels/tires. i forgot in the previous post that i did the brakes probably 2 months ago with rotorworks slotted/cross drilled nickel plated rotors, axxis front pads and just kept the stock rear pads. i also have the sirius receiver new in the box, the one i got originally as part of the free deal for buying the car broke so i sent it back and got a new one last week but haven't put it in yet
