WTB a clutch for my Hiboost turbo kit. I just went through a 4 puck spring loaded disc (metal/kelver) it was a prototype from superior friction and it doesn't hold up. It sucks because i dont ROMP on my car, i just daily drive the thing. Let me know what i use that will hold up. Don't get me wrong superior friction is a GREAT company, thats y its called a prototype clutch. thanks

a 4 puck is way to much for a daily driven car. A 6puck is alittle harsh but not as bad. How much power are you putting down? If you are still around 200whp an ACT street clutch will hold just fine.

I'd suggest a Spec stage 3 hybrid... easy pedal feel, great tq handling because of better materials.

I know of a couple cars that are in the 300whp range that run it and have no slipping problems whatsoever.

if you still want a heavy pedal then I know a lot of people like the ACT clutches, but I only have experience with my Spec. though I drove one car with the ACT and my leg got tired.

I <3 my ACT. If you want something a little beefier then the Stage 1 you can call up Jeff at ProParts.com and they can special order an ACT with street disc and extreme pressure plate. if I remember right it's rated to hold 350tq/hp.

Works great for me.

i have had four customers with proteges and several non-mazda owners approach me with broken spec clutches.
