I was wondering if anyone within a couple of hours from me knows anyone selling a beater for around $1000. I may be selling the MSP for a multitude of debt reasons and am looking for an old reliable car to get me around for the next year until my other car is paid off etc...

what's the other car? in this case i had the same issue. i bought a 1993 ford tuarus GL. 500.00. put 1000.00 into it, and it only has 55k miles. i took insurance off the pro, put it in a garage, and just paid the payment.

very worth while.

Wife's car is a Durango I owe about a year on.... daughter will be starting private school with my son in a few months which is a huge cost addition in bills for me. If I don't do something soon, I'll be screwed I think. Paying the payment on the MSP is the problem... I could really use that money for her school if I can find a beater and buy it with no payment etc...

i see. the durango...get rid of that thing man... that's a gas hog, and prolly expensive... you could pick up a minivan or something like that which would better suite your needs i think.

Long story you don't know the background on. I have 0% on it getting out of a negative equity lease situation from before. Anyway, in 1 year that b**** will be paid off so no more note and a 5 year old car with a V8 is a good thing... then I can buy the wife a new car, I'll take the Durango for a while etc...
