The AEM FIC is a fuel/ignition controller. I was not aware Injen made such a thing.

Just a word to the wise. My brother has an AEM FIC on his built turbo MR2, and that thing is finnicky. I also have heard a lot of people have trouble with them.

IMHO, Split Second, non ignition control model. My car great with it, and it is very easy to tune. They're also pretty cheap, and it has been proven to work with our cars.

I think it will come down to how it works on the MSP. I have seen them be very finicky on toyotas.......supra and alltrac. I know some supra guys swear by them also. If it works well, it could eclipse the SS due to its ability to take on bigger injectors and tune ignition. Not too many people have used them on the MSP that I am aware of, in fact I have only seen the write up "how-to" connect it. Time will tell if it will be worth it.

I like the bypass feature. That way if its not working right, I can bypass the FIC until I have a chance to deal with the problem. Although I'm not sure how 440s will run off the stock ecu.

I want to be different. I want to go against the grain . I"ll still consider a SS if the FIC doesn't work out, but for now, I want to at least try the fic.

I can tell you firsthand that get's very expensive, but like I said, you do you, man. I'll delete the rest of my posts so it doesn't clutter your thread.

I don't know about using it with the MSP ECU yet but I put one on a turbo'd MP3 with the stock MP3 ECU and it works and
tunes great. I'll be putting mine on the MSP this spring.

I know, I've put more money than needed into this car already. The AEM FIC is just the road, less traveled. I would like to travel that road and map it out for others who may be curious to travel that same road. No need to delete anything. All facts/opinions are valued here.

I'm working on picking one up too. Hopefully, it goes through. A little costly, but I'm ok with that for a better ride.

Only thing I'm not really fond of, is the resistor deal. Oh well, it's worth a shot.
