wrecked my MSP!!! 56K...fix my car

yea not sure....i have a 2.5" dp but i think there is a nice dent in it...umm a smic, cai...id love to part them out but not sure how that is gonna work..do i have to put the stock parts back on if its totaled? also, if it is totaled, its not mine anymore, its the insurances' car....so can i legally remove the aftermarket parts?

you can take whatever you want off of it until you sign her over to the insurance company.

That's not true at all. The insurance company won't be happy if you take parts off of it. If they total it out you won't be compensated for the parts you took and it could cost you big time. Basically you could take some small peices and say they flew off, but you can't take anything obvious.

UPDATE: well guys it looks like she is repariable...i called the body shop today and they were about 90% done looking over the car and they were at $7833 and still have to put her on the lift....so she isnt totalled. now for the waiting and hoping and praying that they do s*** right!!!

i'm surprised it's only $8000. I had the suspension on that same wheel, a bumper, a trunk, a fender, a rim, and the rear lip all replaced it was $8000 after labor and paint. Yours looks a lot worse than mine. I wouldn't be suprised to see it go past ten when they start taking stuff apart. if they do fix it just pray they do it right, and don't take delivery until you feel comfortable with the job. just because they hand you the keys doesn't mean it's good to go.

yea, this is the part that i am mainly concerned with, you know how picky i am/was about my car....i hope this turns out the way i want it to...any suggestions would be super!!
