i saw the wrx at the LA auto show in january i think. it was badass and definately not stock. i think it had 300-400 something hp i only read it a little because i didnt want to be scared of it, you all know what i mean. i started to think about being a cop.

Well if that wrx has 300-400 hp then he cant drive for crap. I have around 285hp and am running low-mid 8s in the 1/8.

hes hiding the potential, that or i have a really bad memory (and i do) and it only had 270. he might not of wanted anyone to see how fast it was until they tried to run from it (yes) .

All the cops around here drive crappy maintenanced crown vics and old explorers. The only threats around here are the unmarked Intrepids and Geo Metros they use on Intersate 84...totally not fair.

In Canada, a couple of cops started a "tuning-information" program. I saw a couple of bad-add cops cars so far... a 2xx hp civic is one of them. But it's the first time I see a WRX and a 350z among the lot. I wouldn't even try running away from them! (except if I had a 911t maybe lol)

Man I had a bad start, but I was catching up at the end. If it was a 1/4 run, I would win. I have higher speed at the end.

Coolest I have seen is a sherrif in a huge Dodge ram. Which is pathetic next to these cars. Well you Cali residents know where your taxes go.....

City of Miami used to have a porsche 911 turbo. Not sure if they still do. The undercover cops have some bad ass cars. Usually seized cars.....

Here in GA police depts use all kinds of cars. One city, Doraville, has everything from Honda Accords to Boss Mustangs. But they are not all pimped out looking like those cars. Most of the time they are black or dark blue and really plain looking. The county police where I live just started getting Ford Excursions, lol. It sucks when you don't know what to look for, ie headlights.

To answer the question in the title, yes-on a track. Hell, I asked one of the state troopers at the dragstrip to run his vic against mine.

I always thought the vic's or any police car for that matter had some mods on it.

My friend was pulled over by a cop on a bike, in Miami they use Harley the big harleys, anyways he started talking to the cop about the bike and etc etc....He says to the cop you really think you are gonna catch a guy on a crotch rocket with that big old bike, he said the cop showed him inside the saddle bags and he had one nos bottle in each. Now I dont know if he is bs'ing but I've seen those bikes take off and that is not a standard harley.....

I think most of police cars have some kind of mods, maybe small, maybe big, but for sure they are not factory.
