641hp twin turbo V8. That shocked me when I counted the number of coil packs on the engine.
It's not the type of configuration Mazda is known for, so if we see a version of this with an inline 6 or rotary, the Toyota variant will always be seen as superior. I don't think it would play out that way. It would make more sense for them to be equal but different. So I could only see design changes but the same powertrain.
All that to say, I am skeptical there would or should be this many different sports cars from Mazda. They need to focus on only two: an RX type and an MX type.
