Would love to get it back running right...

ok first things first... my msp at idle stays at 500 rpm.. it feels like its going to shut off.. next i have a bigger problem... ok so i put oil in my car and just about every two weeks the thing is almost bone dry.. its not leaking on the pavement because i have checked numerous times and i dont ever see it smoking out the back so why can it be wasting so much oil? i have money to rebuild but if its something that i can fix rather easily then i would rather do that and save my money for bigger and better things for my msp..

do you see any smoke when you are on it, like when the turbo is boosting?

i have the same problem where i had no oil after two weeks. came to find out i smoked real bad when i was boosting.

I needs a new turbo

ok well ill see and even its smoking like that dosent necassarily mean the turbo went bad it could be the seals went bad and thats not to hard to fix... cause i dont have money for a new turbo

have someone follow you down a street on a slope, let off the gas and have them look for some blue smoke...you've got to be burning it if it's not leaking

you have money for a rebuild but not for a turbo??? id do what bazooka joe says and see if they see ANY blue smoke.

it might not be so bad that you can see it, but if it's not dripping on the floor you are burning it.
