Worst Gas Mileage Yet! :)

20.9 mpg over 178 miles. Average highway speed 65-70.

I had just a bit of air resistance.

I had to deliver the hardtop to a dealer to use as a display and since I'll be near Acadia I might as well pack the bike and boat. The whole back of the CX is loaded as well.

Mileage for the return trip should be better as the Bike, kayak and box will be on the trailer. I'm curious about the difference but my speed will be higher too.

I also passed 30,000 miles today as well.

That is a far cry from your usual 33 mpg. with an empty roof rack and no trailer.

No worries. With the tank I am on now, I decided to drive it like I stole it. Still returning mid 20's mpg, which I would normally get low 30's.

And to think I was cringing at the 25 MPG I got pulling motorcycle on my Kendon trailer last weekend. LOL.

I'm glad everyone found the sarcasm in the post. On the return trip, I put the box, bike, and kayak on the trailer and averaged 25mpg at 75-80 mph for the 3 hour drive. I could've been around 27-28 if I wasn't on a time crunch and drove closer to 65-70.
