Enjoy everyone. The car isn't even on the lowest setting either. The ride is pretty stiff. I definitely will need new aftermarket struts to compliment the coilovers soon.
The car is dirty. I washed it last night so I'll try to get some new pics up of it nice and shiny.
I was just wondering how many inches u dropped it. I put ground controls in my MP3 and dropped it 2 inches, but I think I can go lower without rubbing. Yours looks lower than mine. Thanks for your time.
The front ones are dropped almost all the way...prob about an inch to half an inch still left on the coilover sleeve. The rear is only dropped about 1/2 way down the coilover sleeve. I think the initial drop, even if the setting is all the way up is like 2 inches. When I had first installed them and I had the rears at the same level as the front on the sleeve, the rim was right at the fender. It's great though, no rubbing yet.
Mazdaspeed exhaust is not the same as the Racing Beat exhaust. Each are made by their respective companies. I paid $150 for a used one. It was still in perfect condition. That was with shipping.
Looks awesome, but isn't it a bad idea to go more than a 1.5" drop even on a MP3 suspension? You're going like 2-2.5" on stock Mazda struts! Will this work?
First off, it's not the MP3 suspension so it's not even as stiff a ride with the MP3's stiffer struts. The ride handles great, but I get a lot of bounce which is why I will hopefully be getting new struts within the next 6 months. New struts as in aftermarket struts.
I have the MAZDASPEED rear section and it has MAZDASPEED engraved on the tip. Does yours ? I can't see it in the photo. Did you get it from a dealer ? I wonder if they stopped enscibing them.
