This is the turbo/supercharger tech section so I figured I'd post some supercharger info for you guys.
If you don't know I'm designing a custom supercharger for the 2.0L (1.8Ls should work as well) protege's. I'm using a Powerdyne BD-600 centrifugal supercharger and I wanted to post some info about this particular set-up so people could get a better idea of what it's capable of.
Hyperdyne Impeller
Powerdyne delivers substantial power increases over conventional centrifugal superchargers due to the unique Hyperdyne impeller. Featuring an exclusive curved-blade design that literally grabs air at low speeds, the Hyperdyne impeller generates low RPM boost levels that are unmatched by the competition. The airfoil shape and computermatched scroll combination provides more pressure and flow at comparable RPMs than any other centrifugal supercharger on the market.

SilentDrive Belt Drive
The same technology that drives the huge blowers on Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars has been refined by Powerdyne to produce the only belt-driven centrifugal supercharger manufactured today. Utilizing the latest reinforced belts and precision machined drive pulleys, the patented SilentDrive system eliminates the annoying rattles, chattering, whine and reliability problems encountered with conventional gear-driven. superchargers
No Oil Lines! No Oil Reservoir!
With no drive gears to lubricate, SilentDrive eliminates the need to route oil from the engine or a separate tank to the supercharger, which vastly simplifies installation. The absence of hot engine oil allows Powerdyne superchargers to run cooler, thus reducing under-hood temperatures while providing a denser air/fuel charge for increased efficiency and maximum horsepower output.

Powerdyne superchargers are unique by way of the Silentdrive patented internal belt drive system that eliminates tapping into the engine oil system for lubrication as required on gear-driven superchargers. In addition, Powerdyne's advanced Hyperdyne impeller delivers more bottom end torque and overall horsepower than conventional designs. The result is a cooler running and more efficient power system that delivers unmatched performance and reliability without the annoying gear noise.
As I get more concrete numbers I'll be sure to post them here and in the dyno section for everyone.
