Wisconsin meet at end of July

Bad news guys :(... found a coolant leak on the MP3 that is going at a pretty good clip. I'm losing the resevoir about ever 200 or 300 miles... so I'm somewhat nervous about driving it all that distance and whether or not I'd come to the meet... as I need time to tear the side of the motor down to find and fix the leak... I have a race next weekend so I have to get the car fixed before then... and my backup vehicle is having brake issues so I can't really drive that either during the week...

So moral of the story is at this point I'm 98% sure I won't be making it for the meet tomorrow. I'm going to drive the car and inspect the leak and so forth to determine how I feel about it... but we'll see.

Later!

Steve

must have been tough to make up that decision lol.

we all hope to meet you next time. (burnout)

wow all I can say is this was one of the best meets in a long time. The drive was awesome if freaky as hell. Melissa seemed pretty nice and it was fun to have someone to talk to while I *tried* to keep up with Brian lol.

Brian, Ross, Kurt - thank you SO much for your help with installing the mounts, headunit, and prepping for the side markers. I really appreciate it and I was blown away by everyone's willingness to help out a n00b haha.

Special thanks to Brian for the food and Ross for letting me experience the fury of the manual p5!

"The best of"

Glad you guys had fun... I've definitely got some issues on the leaks.... so I"m tearing down the side of the motor tomorrow night to figure it out... also been fighting with the brakes on my truck... not much is cooperating this week!
