My problem is in teaching my son how to do it. He thinks that just barely grazing the toilet paper over the crack is enough, (no)but then I show him his undies 1/2 an hour later, and he wonders where he went wrong. (scratch) Then sometimes he smears it all over the place because he doesn't wipe then lift. He just wipes and keeps going, leaving a long brown streak. (uhm) What to do? (shrug)

my mommy taught me with a baby wipe.....easier for me. And my undies have been streak free ever since! =)

But honestly....the number of wipes depends entirely on the type of s*** you take.

1.Let's say you have some serious "runs" with splashback from the toilet...you'll either take a shower, or wipe for hours.

2.What i like to call "dry poopie": you s***, and then you only need 1 wipe.

3."Wet Poopie": on the edge of "runs" where multiple wipes are necessary.

my method is wipe - wet wipe - wipe. I start using regular tp to get the majority, use wet wipe to really clean it up, then regular tp to dry it up!
