Winter storage

Well I am the proud owner of a blue MP3, so far have 4000 KM about
2500 miles on it and it is humming along fine. Got it at a dealer
just outside Toronto Canada and paid MRSP for it....Have yet to see
another one around yet.

I am considering storing the card for the winter since the snow and
salt will be a killing and I have another car. I do not have a garage
and plan on covering it.

Some have suggested that it would be better to park it, cover it and
start it up one a week and move it a bit to make sure the tires do
not have a flat spot develop. These suggestions are because the
engine is new that not using it for 3 months could cause damage.

I normally store my other car on Jack stands, remove the battery,
remove the plugs and drop some oil in, cover and leave it.

Does any one here have any thoughts on this, winter is almost here
and I suspect that other Canadian MP3 owners may want to do the same
thing.

Thanks for any suggestions
