I'm really fed up with frosted windows inside the car. Ventilation is not on recirc, btw. Could my weather stripping already be at fault?

What's funny is that out of all the cars on my street, only mine and a 626 have this problem. (huh)

Any advice???

do you drive around with AC on in the winter?

I know that sounds really stun, but I see a lot of people do this. They drive around with the AC on, but the heat up because it gets rid of the fogging effect quicker then waiting for the car to warm up, but I find it does make my windows freeze up inside much worse once she's turned off. Probably due to moisture forming due to quick changes of temp by doing that.

I think that the AC comes on automatically when the defrost is on, as well as only allowing outside air instead of recirc.
Lots of people I know leave their ski gear in the trunk all wet and that totally humidifies the interior. These are the folks you see scraping the inside of the windows.
I found about an inch of water in my spare tire tray after putting a pair of snowy skis in the car. Within the week i had a hitch rack to keep the snow where it belongs. Finally, wet floor mats from snowy and wet feet can't help either.

I get this problem on my WRX wagon all the time too. One thing I've found that for sure causes it is failing to clear the snow off your hood where the vents suck in air. It was actually snowing inside my car last week because I failed to clear the snow off the top and it sucked in the snow that was on top of the vent intake between the hood and windshield. Btw - my owner's manual says *not* to have it on recirculate or else the windows will fog up.

Thats bitchin man, kinda like that simpsons episode? hahaha, sorry to laugh, but it's a kinda funny mental image. I've noticed that my windows fog up pretty easy, but thats due to the tint, and also, the weather stripping on my drivers door is seriously fubar. But yeah, moisture in the car is no good, you'll want to dry the matts often(if you have the winter type that catch water), and you'll not want to leave anything damp inside.

Does all aftermarket tinting make conditions worse for fogging? That would be a concern for me. Also, what about the defroster wires? Do they have a negative effect on the tint?
Thanks
