What do you think of just the 4 pc kit on an MSP? Do you think that the EXTREME flairs do THAT much more?

(Yes I know it's the MP3, but it's the same thing basicly!)

*My idea of doing this (front bumper & side skirts) is b/c my front bumper is comming off right under my passenger side light (It won't hook back on  AND NO, I wasn't hit or I didn't bump anything... it's weird... ) SO I am trying to get the thing back to the dealer to see if they'll reattach it, and if not, I'll probably get it :D

hehe sorry my finger got stuck on the refresh button :D

I liked the front and side skirts on Dragonbabes Mp3, but in those pics not really set on the fender flares.

Hmmm guess Lisa needs to get her eyes checked :p

*paging mister Bones, doctor Bones you here*

Hmmmm normally he is always around Capt Kirk.

Thanks Both of you's :D

I am hoping that they'll just re attach that loop that got undone somehow and that'll be it. If they say that this isn't covered under warranty I'll flip........

I would like to just buy the fender flares as they give the car a nicer wide look. However, they force you to buy the front bumper to go with it as they attach.

That SO should be under warrenty.

aren't the holes on the WW kit for the fogs biggger then the stock fogs....so the stock fogs don't fit right? I thought I read this somewhere.

Anyhow, as long as you don't buy that damn wing....your fine

On another note: If your bumper is just falling off....and you weren't hit, the dealer has no choice but to warranty it. That s*** ain't right.

It's not really "Falling off" Per Se, but it is unattached at a loop right under the passenger side head light... you can see the separation and it sticks out further on that side as opposed to the driver's side.

Thanks again guys!

BTW,

I have an appt. friday to take her in

Here's my laundry list:

1. Front bumper adjustment
2. Squeaky front shock (only in mornings on passenger when cold outside)
3. Squeaky shifter (sometimes not all)
4. Wind noise coming from Passenger front window (as if the window wasn't closed all the way)
5. the dreaded clunk... not notceable all the time, but continuing to grow
6. the hessitation (worse w/ hotter weather)

Damn that's just wrong for a car that has only 3400 miles on her :(

Makes me want to SCREAM

Oh and newf,

I wouldn't buy that damn fugly spoiler. What I would buy would be the new front bumper and the side sills only :D

I like the spoiler!
I'm think about getting just it for my MSP...
It's not high on the priority list though.

littleman, the squeaking is your bushings, complain about those.

Thats funny about your bumper (ok its not funny it sucks), but mine does the same thing on the driver side. I can see the loop but there is no tab to attach it to like on the other side. Most people wouldn't notice but I do and it pisses me off because I'm anal about that s***. Anyway I'm getting an oil change next friday and I'm askin them about it.

I think the Extreme flares make it look alot better, but if you really want a good wide body look without the front bumper and stuff, check out the DGM Carbon Fibre wide body kit. Also available in Fibre glass(carbon fibre is better, but fibreglass is cheaper) Check it out at www.protege5online.com, it under the forsale page. It fits the Protege, protege5, MP3, and MSP, since they are all based on the same Familia ES body(Protege ES body)

are the DG widebody rear fender flares different for the p5 and mp3/msp? the reason being is that arch flare is incorporated in both door and rear quarter panel for the mp3/msp, while the p5 is only in the rear quarter.

I don't like the DG flares, at all. However, I am planning on the WW kit with flares once I get a job.

the only car i've liked the kit on so far is Equinox's P5, bt maybe thats cause i see it every other week or so :)

it's too "airplane" looking to me. plus, if you get the fender flares, for the love of God have then molded into the body... i hate the sudden stop they make, it really distrupts the lines of the car

i totally agree about the fender flares just stopping, just doesn't look good in my opinion. but if they were molded its allright

Sorry to offend you joka,

I didn't mean any harm.... IMHO it's just a little to much, but then again it's My honest opinion.

To each his own.

If I get the kit it'll only be the side skirts and the front bumper.. the flairs are too much and too expensive.

Again, I like the flares. I'd love to see some more Protege's with the kit so I could see it on more than just the WW demo car.
