First off. Who Knows their RCW's? what are the legal limitations on window tinting in washington?
Second. Who has the best value (Price v. Performance) on tinting in Seattle or Spokane?
Thanks.

You'll be wanting to read RCW 46.37.430.

http://www.leg.wa.gov/RCW/index.cfm?fuseaction=section&section=46.37.430

"The maximum level of film sunscreening material to be applied to any window, except the windshield, shall have a total reflectance of thirty-five percent or less, plus or minus three percent, and a light transmission of thirty-five percent or more, plus or minus three percent, when measured against clear glass resulting in a minimum of twenty-four percent light transmission on AS-2 glazing where the vehicle is equipped with outside rearview mirrors on both the right and left. "

35% all around for small cars. 35% for front windows on SUVs, trucks and other big automobiles, everything else on their automobile can be as dark as they want.

if you are in the seattle area, i would recommend Darkside on Lake City Way, thats where i got mine done. A friend of my called a bunch of the dealerships around here and other performance stores and asked them where they recommend going for tint, almost every place recommended Darkside. The guy honestly does an awsome job.

Another place to go is Frank's Window Tinting in Lynnwood. The guy is a contact of mine, and he's also got hookups for parts and accessories as well. Very good prices, very high quality. Ask for Josh, tell him Michael with the Mazdaspeed sent ya, check out his yellow MP3, and see what kind of deals he can get ya.

AUBURN TINT SHOP LOCATION

I got my car done down in Auburn at a place called Tint Xxperts. They did an awesome job and as you can see from my mod details I got Charcoal w/ 30% front and 20% back. I don't think the tint is that evident to be hasseled and the shot marked the tint down as "LEGAL" so I hang on to my documentation just incase.

PHONE NUMBER TO TINT XXPERTS:

I paid 199.14 for a FULL tint and the front VISOR strip. TELL THEM YOU SPOTTED a SPECIAL ON QUESTDEX's website for 35.00 off a FULL TINT.. That's how I got my price.. WORTH THE MONEY!!!
