yea, i always see cars up here with FL licenese plates that have like, 10% tints all the way around, its crazy

Yup. I was told that carbon based won't fade (comes with lifetime fading warranty at that shop, vs 5- or 6-year fading warranty with metallized [from what I remember]), and it looks nicer and what you said.KanseiZM said:Carbon-based?! *goes off to research it*
Edit: Ok all I've seen so far is that it may be more color stable, and that it doesn't block GPS reception for cars with navigation. I bet that means it doesn't decrease radar/laser detector performance too.
