Window Tint

i've had 35% on all windows for 4 years in PA never a problem *knocking on wood*
As long as you can see inside, you shouldn't have a problem.

I've got 5 percent all around my car, and 6.5 inches down the front windshield, busters try to stop me, but i've got a doctors note! BIIIAAATCH!

I did notice though, when I had blue, not hyperwhite, I mean BLUE ass turn signals and sidemarkers along with the tint I got pulled over a few times, ever since I took em out and replaced them with yellow bulbs I haven't been harassed...*knock on wood!*

thanks crazyfists thats a pretty handy site.. it doesnt say anything about wing windows though? the shop said they'd do 'em though so i guess its goes same as fronts?

arite 5% on wings or windows too? site said like 27 % for sc, but u think i'll be fine with 5% cuz its my daily driver too

My car is my daily as well...I guess it just depends on how the po po are in your area really...anyone you know w/ tinted windows in your town?

Nice lookin car. (thumb) I want to do darker tints on the rear doors, to give it that darker look, but I want to keep the hatch at 35% so I can see out the back at night.

Pay to have it done. No question. I got 20% Llumar and I'd highly recommend it. Mine was $175 with a lifetime warranty.

that looks very nice, what percentage is that?

Thanks. And yeah, it's 20% all around. Nothing on the windshield. I thought about 35% but decided at the last minute that I'd rather get 20%. I was afraid that it would look too dark on the Protege with a gray interior, because 20% looked pretty dark already on my Maxima with a tan interior.

I feel I made the right choice though. I love how it looks.

yea it looks nice (first) i went yesterday to get them done but i had to make an apt ahead. so i'm goin next sat. i will post pics when i get them. i'll probly get 20 percent as well
