You are asking if I have more or less lag because of the FMIC...
I am very pleased with the performance from my car. I have been in an MSP and there is no noticeable spool negatives from the FMIC.
Get one, you will not be upset. The FMIC will flow with less restriction and that will counteract any problems from the extra plumbing.

It's the downpipe. Not usually, the dampening force is quite stiff all around and when it does hit, it's stainless 304 so it won't matter.
