I am very pleased with the performance from my car. I have been in an MSP and there is no noticeable spool negatives from the FMIC.
Get one, you will not be upset. The FMIC will flow with less restriction and that will counteract any problems from the extra plumbing.

I'm going to do some research on the PWR intercooler, I have a list of things I want to get; hard pipes,BOV, MBC,Diverter valve, guages, the list goes on and on (yes)

A good MBC is the JoeP MBC, or a Hallman MBC.

It's the downpipe. Not usually, the dampening force is quite stiff all around and when it does hit, it's stainless 304 so it won't matter. Originally it needed alot of room because the AWR mounts were not on (For Flex) if it brakes I can get a new one made 2" higher to the engine...There isn't much in the way of bad roads here.supman said:

With a little bumper modification we put a 24 x 8 x 3.5" PTE core in this Mazdaspeed Protege. Custom endtanks and 2 solid pipes for the piping. 4 couplers on the entire system. Take your time, be creative and don't rush things, and you will be amazed what can happen.
