Will this intercooler fit our cars?

We are located in St Paul, MN. That's also our CAI on the car as well. We are really pleased with how it turned out.
wow! all these choices now! I'm interested to find out how much it will cost. Also, will it work with the Injen intake? If it will, will the cost be less?

Thanks,

Thanks for the compliments guys. Before I get into specifics let me get approval to do so by the admin.

Oh yeah, I have no clue about it working with an Injen intake. We made the intake. And we only deal with 304 SS piping. No Aluminum, No Mild Steel. No cutting corners.

Very NICE !!!

There is just something about that I personally don't like. And well since I am knew I figure dropping a few words to share my side is only fair. First the intercooler itself. We prefer bar and plate over tube and fin. Why? The Bar and Plate has exceptional charge air cooling performance and a slightly higher pressure drop compared to an equivalently sized tube & fin design which offers more charge air flow at the cost of cooling efficiency. We tend to like the ability to cool more on those hot summer days.

As for the end tank setup we had to make our own once the bumper was off. If you go with a core that has tanks on the sides of each you have 2 options.

1. Short route on each side of the car. (both sides of the radiator has piping comming from the IC) Not a bad idea, but the downfall it you are putting the piping to the turbo right by the manifold and well additional heat on IC piping = bad in my eyes.

2. Take the piping from the pass side back around the IC and through the dirvers side. Downfall = a ton of piping.

So that's why we made this up. 2 solid pipies, 4 total couplers, and a custom end tank design. Why risk boost leaks when you don't have to? Why use more pipe than what's needed?

Why ask why? Try bud dry! (drinks) Sorry, time to get back to work.

I have this intercooler in my car and didn't have to cut much. 2 inches into the front crossmember and about 20 inches long accross the crossmember. The intercooler fit perfectly into the bumper. Welded some bracket to the crossmember and it is mounted solid. I will be selling a smaller version of it in my turbo kits, comming next month.

Very nice setup. The Cryo is overkill but ever bit helps!!

Thanks! That Nitrous ring is the difference between winning or losing to a 5.0. It gives about forty more HP's. I fill the bottle a least twice a week. You intercooler look killer in your car!!

Thanks for the props. I wanted to keep it behind the screen to keep the car as stock looking as possible...

I'm interested in a custom kit as well for my es. I'm also in the Twin Cities, and want to know what an estimate would be for a custom kit. I saw your post about this kit on mnsc.

How much did you spend in overall expenses?????(for pipes/core/connectors/clamps/end tanks etc) Thinking about going custom also.

That kits was around $1500 for everything. Core, Endtanks, Couplers, Tbolts, and TiAL BOV. We are changing the TiAL bov to a Greddy Type S so he can route it back in to the intake this week. This includes the full install, some bling bling with the 304 SS piping and the Alum custom end tanks.

If your in the cities, feel free to stop by and chat more about a setup.
