Will This Combination Rub?

I'm looking at the following wheel/tire package for summer/track day use; my MS3 has stock springs:
Enkei RPF1 18x7.5 Offset: +48mm Backspacing: 6.10"
Dunlop Direzza Star Specs 225/45ZR18
Comments? Thanks in advance!

I would say probably not.

I'm running a setup that is closer to the strut and closer to the fender without any problems (235/40R18 on 18x8 et50). If you want to be really safe, go with a 225/40R18, but I doubt you'll have problems with the 45 series tires...

Thanks. Tire Rack recommended the combination and they haven't steered me wrong in 17 years. Still, it's nice to get some first-hand opinions.

I'm guessing via a phone call? I can't get their website to "recommend" anything other that stock tire sizes. Hell, the site won't even allow you to configure 17" wheels on the car.

Right. I've got a salesperson that I've used for years. If you want to configure the car with 17" wheels just enter a 2008 Mazda 3 Grand Touring as your car. That will get you to the 17" wheels.
