Will the dealer know?

I have to take my car in for the clunk, rotors, and just general matinence but I had the Forge BOV on my car. I removed it today but still used the clamps that came with the kit because the stock clamps are such s***. I also had to replace the clamp on the hose on the top of the BPV, that one may be kinda noticeable. Do you think I'll catch any flak for the clamps? I'm hoping they don't even notice but I'm so paranoid. Also, has anyone else been able to reattach the stock clamps? The ones that I am referring to are the clamps that have a large barb that you are supposed to hook the other end around, but I'm geussing they are one time use clamps, I couldn't get them back on. Oh well, I'll find out Friday:confused:

Sounds to me like you don't have much to worry about considering your going to the dealer for all non-BPV/BOV related issues. If your dealer gives you grief about that when you are asking to have the clunk taken care of it's time for a new dealer anyway.

Damn man you will be ok. Your just taking it in for the clunk and some other minor repairs it's not like you threw a rod. I doubt they will be comparing every inch of your car to a photo of a factory fresh MSP :)
Even if you had broken your motor the BOV would have dick to do with it.
Just be curteous and cool when you arrive and I am sure they will reciprocate. Don't let the paranoia of getting "caught" turn you into a rude psycho.
I was worried when my exhaust broke because the damn wastegate hoses were all cracked to s*** and I did not want them thinking I did it. I just told them that they came apart and the dealer replaced them. It does run 14PSI (redundant I know) now but hey that aint my fault :)

L8ter and stop sweating over this you'll be fine.

Thanks for the responses, makes me feel a little better. I am nothing but polite to the dealer, even when they had me wait 4 hours for one of their body shop guys to look at the dents in my car that I didn't put there. I hope the clunk fixes the looseness I'm feeling the the suspension and the noise obviously. Anyway, thanks. (band2)

I would notice, but I don't think non ethusiast techs would notice or care.

the clamps on the BPV have some kind of tamper-evidence thing on 'em so that they will know if you touched it. but i don't think you should have a problem.
