i used to have a ps2 in my car. . .....and i took it out since i never used it. . ..but you would need to get a power inverter to be able to use it. then i would try to ground the ps2 to the chassis to get rid of any electrical noise that the inverter would make. . at least i had to do taht. .. .it cleaned up the picture a lot and the audio was much better when i grounded it too as the inverter does not provode a true ground fot eh ps2

Whats the point of keeping the stock unit. So you can play MP3's?

Whats the point of having 2 radios, 2 cd's etc...

it all depends on how much noise the inverter puts out. ....sometimes you might even get away without doing it. . but for me. . . i didnt' keep my ps2 in there long enough but if it was going to be permanent in my car i would ground the power supply of the ps2 to the chassis. . ..looking at my ps2 right now. . i woud suppose you coud use the screw holes for the expansion bay to connect a ground wire to it. ... even easier yet. . i would check to see if the psone auto adapter would work for the ps2 (i have no clue) and then you woudn't even have to get an adapter

nevermind the psone has a totally differnt power supply. . .it's already dc. . . .yea i would suppose the inverter is you best bet to getting that thing goin

Do you know of any inverters that are good, but dont cost to much?
I found one that's called the game plate, but I don't know if it's the way to go, cost $69 & I don't know if that's too much to pay for it...
