Will MS3 without stock DP pass inspection?

i have a 09 MS3 and i have a corksport DP on it. i was wondering if the car will fail inspection if it does not have the stock dp on it?

if anyone knows please reply ASAP thanks so much

I live in Jersey as well. I'm not sure to tell you the truth. I know we're a pretty strict state when it comes to emissions. If you are throwing a CEL that will probably be checked come time for inspections, which means you fail. If you still have one cat it's possible that you'll pass the smog test, but not sure. And if Jersey does a visual inspection I'm sure they'll be able to tell that it's an aftermarket peice, which will also end in failure.

Well technically u still have ur second cat on there hopefully. As long as ur car isnt too loud to throw up any red flags u should be okay. As long as ur going for just an Inspection and not emissions. Lastly I think it depends oon where u take it and who is working that day. this is very annoying. im trying to trade my speed in but im turning it back to stock. and when i put the dp in it was at my friends garage last year. and i dont have some of the tools to get it off. so i was hoping i could leave it in and put the cat on and it would be cool. i cant get the bolts off either they are on to tight. so im thinking about just taking it to a shop and having them swap them for me. because right now my patience cant take this.
