will cutting the air box threaten hydrolock?

i wana cut my air box up for termporary use to get some noise cause i have to pay ticket so intake is being put off will i have to worry about hydrolock if i do this?

if you dont get hydrolock with the stock air box in stock form, there's really no way it's going to hydrolock with a couple of extra holes in it.

edit- i've been driving around with an injen on my car for 3+ years and have no idication that hydrolock will ever occur, and i've even driven through some pretty deep puddles. so, yeah, unless you plan on forging some rivers in your 3, you'll be more than fine.

yeah its utah hardly any moisture other then snow think a quick car wash woulda affect it. its not sprayed in the under carriage

Unless you fully emerge the front end in water, you have nothing to worry about.

i think if the whole front of the car get submerged, you'll have bigger problems than just hydro-lock
