will 205/50R16 fit on stock P5 rims?

after driving that road, i care little for auto-x..iv done two track days ever and that still doesnt compare to the GAP..most trips ill log 600-800 miles of fast road driving in a weekend, i used about half the front azenis up in doing so.. but the gap has TONs of fun roads, not just the dragon(main part-318 turns in 11 miles) every road is twisty, and from where i stay thers 17 miles of fast twistys just to get to the dragon..so i get up in moring go to the dragon and run it twice and come back for breakfast, thats 1272 turns in the dragon part alone and 78 miles before breakfast..Iv built my car for that road, and sus settings, etc..
its a blast

40-series winter tires? Hmm...

Anyway, they look nice on your dropped P5. No doubt they'd be ridiculous on stock suspension. :)

my winter set up!! 205-55-15 and old maxima wheels.. in carbondale co,.. but now im running 195-60-15 because they where alot cheaper and was short on cash this go round...BFG traction ta

Where in Louisville are you? I'm over just inside Jtown...don't see many Louisville P5s on this forum. Now that you've successfully tried it I may do 215s on my stockers as well...

No, just "all weather". When i bought the car the tires were toast and i wanted full tread for my wife. I run 17s now but I had to get two replaced so these went back on. Looks more stock, sits a little lower but they work for now. Not too bad for 4 new tires @ $80 total...

I like the way that looks. A drop does wonders on this car.

the 205s fit! they are loveRly! I think I'm gonna get another set of 205s to even it out all the way around. once the suspension needs updating, I'm gonna try to lower it. I haven't noticed much difference in ride quality, but it does steer left and vibrate at higher speeds (needs an alignment I'm too broke for). so once I get that done, I should be good to go. btw, to rotate, the wheels have to actually come off the tire and mounted on the opposite for equal tread wear, correct? a guy at sears said "you don't wanna do that". I'm thinking he was trying to save me money and his guys some time?

To rotate tires, you do not need to remove the tires from the wheels. Just unbolt, switch, bolt up.

wow Bill, I didn't know you were rolling so nicely. is that your daily driver?

Yep with it 124 thousand miles and a guard rail crash and running over a large jackrabbit on vacation last week. I'll pick up my new lower grille and windsplitter this weekend.

On topic:

I run 205/45/16 on my stock rims and on my 5-zigen 16 x 7 rims.

Got My 215!!!

Damn (upyours)

This is the most important thing to do with your car...change the tires
And in my case...215/45ZR16 Dunlop Direzza DZ101 is heaven

Fits lovely on the rim no bubble and sidewall sludge or anything...see it on the side...they look like stock...but from front or rear...they are a bit wider...and the traction oh boy I will wait until ive put 200-300 km on them before going crazy but for now they are sticky, comfy and soo beautiful.

I dont know if ALL the tires in 215/45 fits our rims (2003) but those are incredible :D
