the forge recirc is not good at all to run VTA. unlike a greddy or HKS valve which use diaphrems or super sequential gizmos the forge stays wide open under Vac. this causes a large amount of metered air to escape and the car will stumle and run like s*** at idle. if you like the qaulity and dependability of the forge as much as i do, pick up one of their VTA valves from PG. its the same prive as teh BPV and works very well. i testes it for them a while back and my car ran 100% fine with hassles. i'm sure it went a little rich between shifts, but there were no visible issues. that valve uses a dual piston design. one piston uses light spring pressure to keep the air from leaking out at idle. the other sping is just like the BPV and you can adjust the rate of both springs if needed. i found that the small spring that it cam with was fine, and i ran the blus spring for the venting piston. there is also no ping noise from this valve. just a nice clean whoosh !
but i agree with an earlier post. it would be cheaper and better for the car if you just had a recirc port welded on your IC kit.
