i have a aem wideband from my talon, question is do i need to weld an extra bung into my exhaust to hook it up on the msp
It does. In N/A Proteges this is the location of the secondary O2 sensor but on the MSP it's just closed up with a plug. Remove the plug (good luck) and put your wideband there. I have been running my AEM wideband in the location (but using Corksports downpipe) for over 1-1/2 years and I've not had a single problem. The stock j-pipe has an extra bung that can be used for a wb.

The MSPs have the secondary O2 sensor in the midpipe (where both of their cats are). I got the MSP O2 sensor wire extender (I forget the P/N at the moment), welded a bung into my CS exhaust midpipe, used a nonfouler and everything is fine. What did you do with the secondary 02 sensor? Did you just unplug it from the factory harness and not use it? Does the MSP not use a secondary 02 sensor?
