Why would you still use Internet Explorer?

.....when you could use Netscape 7.1? I've been using this newest version for the last few weeks now and it's lightyears ahead of damn IE. I've transferred all my bookmarks to Netscape now permanently and removed IE from my quicklaunch bar altogether.

Things I'm loving about Netscape:

1. tabbed browsing - no more opening 10 different windows to go to other pages like IE....all done in 1 window in Netscape.

2. built in download manager - rocks!

3. built in popup blocker - rocks the most!!!!

4. built in AIM and ICQ - just open your sidebar and away you go!

With all this stuff I'm surprised anyone is using IE.....I guess the fact that it's pre-installed on every PC sold in the universe sure helps but for those of you who haven't tried the new Netscape, give it a try like I did and you'll shitcan IE quick.

Opera kicks ass too!! (though having to pay $20 to remove the stupid ad bar on the top sort've sucks) but... if you've got the money, it's worth it. Will check out this Netscape... maybe I'll switch to that!

A lot of sites are still built for IE unfortunately. Some of the bigger and better ones will accomedate multiple browsers, but sometimes you just can't get away from IE. :(
