Why won't dealer do something about the motor mounts

My car has 35K miles on it and I can feel the motor flopping around like there is a bad mount. But for some reason the dealer says that it is normal. NO IT ISN'T!!! The car didn't used to do it back when I first got it at 24K miles. It is gettin worse. What can I do to get them to fix the damn thing? Any advice?

the rear motor mount takes about 45min if that. depends on if you mess up the alignment of the engine while doing it and then have to try and get it situated again.

I am gonna get the CP-E mount and see how that goes. The dealer is useless. And I think that the other mount may give me issues if I take the car to get work done and they see that big ole thing in there. Not to mention the better price! Gonna stick with the front mount for now and maybe do the other one later....

You have any updates on this?

I have the Str eet Un it mount. Over the last 5K I have been feeling the motor move like crazy while in 2nd or 3rd, while slowly accelerating. It is driving me nuts. It's almost like a misshift sometimes.

I was looking into the CS insert.... are you saying that you get more play with it installed? Btw, the insert, or the whole mount, and which material??

I have the whole SU mount. Been in there for over 15K. It's just starting to get shakey/loose feeling now. I'm wondering if there are other mounts that might have got worn out?

Bump for anyone else seeing this issue. What are the details the front MM listed above also?

I have the street unit mount and to be honest its not drastically better than stock. I still get some shift thump shifting to second and 3rd. Also the motor seems to be shaking more at idle than it did when I first installed it. I have an awr 88 dur mount laying around. So imma swap it out and see how they compare.

I bought the 88dur first. It's tight, really tight. The vibes are very noticible at idle. Being in sales I spend a lot of time in traffic, it was too much for me. I loved the driving, hated the vibrations. So I have it sitting on the shelf for race days. It's a quick easy switch anyway.

I've got the awr 70dur and love it. There is no more shift thump and it vibrates barely at all.

Found out the issue with the shake/misshift, it was the Sensor in the cat going bad causing the car to misread and bog/clog.

I don't know if I read correctly but for the ppl that are having issues with a single mount it, its because you need to have front and rear to resolve the issue. With just one or the other, youre putting all stress on the other.
