Why stop unregistred posting?

You guys say you hate it when people come on here flaming s*** about there v8's but think about it. If you look at every post that does that you guys respond fully. I mean you guys like it when they do that kills time and its fun compition so before you start spamming to get these haters off the board rember how much fun you guys have arguing with them!

You see, it is fun for a while, but there is no ending. They don't like our L4, and we don't like their sh*tbox. Why bother with it then? Just get it over and get them **** out of here.

I'm all for ending unregistered posting. I don't enjoy arguing on the boards a single bit, especially with the V8 guys, since it seems like they lack the technical knowledge to argue intelligently. The way I see it, if you can't come into an arguement/disagreement with fact and actual occuring events, such as time's, documented acticles from mag etc. you shouldn't be in the arguement at all. They always say, "my best friends cousin knows this guys brother, who has an unlce that knows they people who knew the owner of that car in this mag and he said...." And hey just bash our cars because they're lonely or something. Just my $.02 Cents

I agree with banning them. I replied only to them once explaining that I have an american built "muscle" car as well so I can understand the qaulities of thier cars that they enjoy, but i can also get in my MP3 and enjoy it for its strengths in other areas. The person chose to ignore those remarks and just started ripping my other car as well and proceeded to post about "talking s***" and racing and handing people their asses. After that I knew posting anything further would be a waste of time. They say they are here to ask genuine questions so that they can understand what it is we like about our cars, but when we tell them they just proceed to bash and insult. These people are obviously immature, ignorant, misguided people with nothing better to do with their time than post pointless and irrelevant jabber and profanities. I would urge others to not respond to them because it just brings them and their friends back to our board to respond to those replies. If we ignore them, it will cease to be fun to them and they will go away. Don't stoop to their level of immaturity. Banning unregistered posts I think would help though. Sorry for the long post but I just wanted to voice my oppinion because I am getting tired of seeing these boards wasted by the stupidity of idiots. :mad: :mad:

Personally I've tried to answer any questions that have any degree of legitimacy, as I would to anyone on this board who's curious about the car in any way. But having to read through the mounds of trash and profanity to find the one or two good posts about an exhaust or a CAI is pretty infuriating.

I said once before that boards are great for ALL to come express their opinions and view those of others...but I feel that is only when people back their arguments with concrete facts. I'll concede to a point if I'm proven wrong, but some guy posting something like "you #%#% ricers don't know @$@^ and #%#^%# your mother too" is not what I'd call a valid argument. Frustrating...
