LOL! yeah, it really is. leaf blower tho? lol. ok. so for price and performance, should I get a K&N Million Mile Air Filter or a CAI? Like, what gives more hps for the price?

Okay the decision of which intake to get was a little difficult.
I went with the K&N Typhoon Short Ram/Cold Air Intake.
So you have both. You don't need a COLD air intake in the winter, and in the springtime it rains, so a short ram is good for winter and springtime//fall, and the cold air is good for the summer. But if it does rain when you have the CAI you'll have to take it off, which would be hell if you are in a hurry.
The CAI gives you 1~5 more HP than the short ram depending but unless you have a censor to detect moister or humidity, I'd go with the short ram. Because if water gets up into the CAI your engine can seize up.

13sec(shocked) I know it's an auto but damn that's slow...getting her serviced FTW!

Mines stock and I do 0-60 uphill in 2nd in like 7-9 sec but mines a 5spd.

Where you just got it you're probably not into her quirks just yet but have you noticed anything odd other than the serious lag? Weird noises, shifting problems, fuel consumption good/bad etc??

You don't have to take it off when it rains, there's a valve (can't remember the name right off hand) that you can install when you put your intake on that stops water from being sucked up... I'm installing one on mine if I ever get around to putting my CAI on.

lol but unless you have a censor to detect moister or humidity, I'd go with the short ram. a bypass censor maybe?

sensor != censor. Humidity. OMG.

And why do you need a sensor to have a bypass??

hey shut up : ] just because I can't spell at the ass crack of dawn doesn't mean anything.

No, I couldn't remember if it was called a bypass SENSOR but now that you brought that to my attention that doesn't make ANY sense. I was just try to guess what that SENSOR is called.
Now you got me all paranoid, I'm going to use dictionary.com from now on so I won't get ridiculed by you.

yeah, fuel consumption is horrible. I know I drive hard, but 150mile to half a tank is pathetic (approx. 300 mpt). I'm getting an oil change, new K&N fuel and air filters and checking tire pressure. I was once getting around 400mpt, but I'll let you know prolly by this weekend how the tune up helps. and I only run on 89 (minimum). 87 is horrible and I noticed that I get about 2-5 more miles per gallon on 89. 93 is a bit too expensive for me to try.

Ashlee is right on the CAI.

Chances are you may at some point and time suck some water into the filter and just start kissing your ass and wallet good bye.

If you wanna do some basic cheap s*** to your car, do a Short Ram Intake, Header, and a 2.5in header back exhaust with no cats, and a muffler at the end. Thats what I run, and I gained a good amount of power from that.

I think its called a CGR valve. Its just a foamy/rubber spacer piece in the intake
but if u install a SRI then u dont have to put one on. You can just run the straight pipe and filter.
