Why can't this be the new MS3?

That car looks like it would be parked outside of the Former Communist Agricultural Center in Prague, driven by pleather-clad ravers.

This visual made me lawl. On the flipside, the 2010 MS3 is driven by Slovakian farmers slumming it in Bratislava.

That thing blows my mind. A 300hp focus? WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT? That said I probably would hace put it on my list if it were offered in the USA when I got my speed.

Made me think of, "it's time on Sprockets we dance"...

It's amazing to me that Ford makes something like this and we don't get a shot at it...or that it doesn't cross pollinate over to the MS3.

"From a standstill it will hit 60 mph in 2nd gear after 5.9 seconds"

I actually expected better numbers than that. I wonder if wheelspin is the hinderance.

prolly pulls nasty after 60

edit- eww nvrmind, weighs a bit more than ms3 and not that much more power.

but wouldnt this car come to america? why doesnt it?

" ... price tag of $36,000."

Too much.

Where'd they come up with THAT figure?? (dunno)

You can't put the price in terms of U.S. dollars, exactly, since the car is not sold here...Likewise, if you do the direct Euro-to-dollar conversion for cars like the GTI and Volvo C30, the $ number you end up with is much higher than those cars sell for here in the U.S.

Ecoboost... To bad the 2010 speed isnt getting that turbo 2.5L. You can match the HP but you cant call it a comparo to an EVO or STI without giving it AWD.

it confounds me that this car isn't availavble in the U.S.

this country really is going down the tubes faster than a sunscreened fat kid at the water park... :(

Considering Mazda is no longer owned by Ford anymore doubtful anything close will even be considered..

mazda was never "owned" by ford per say, they just held the majority share of stocks. They still hold some stocks so they aren't completely out of the game.

The "US" cars have always been better in Europe, the only thing they share is the name of the parent company
