Damn, that's a slow evo. Not to discount the Mazdaspeed, but there's no reason an evo should have been housed like that.

true, the evo should have been ~.4 seconds slower and had another 2-3mph on its trap speed. it should have been neck and neck with the msp's time. it was probably an 03 too, which are the slowest of the bunch.

when i first watched it it sounded like someone's clutch was slipping for like half the track, but maybe it was just the guy behind them doing his burnout

what excuse? the msp won, the evo lost that race. the time the evo got was slower than it should have been for whatever reason, but the msp did win

LOL, bone stock 1/4 13.4 is if you are a half-way decent driver ... professional drivers came up with that number, so 0.4 slower by an amateur shouldn't be a surprise. Either way that modded MSP should be given credit for being faster than a stock Evo! Woohoo!!
