AZD -- it looks like there isn't a "Novice" group this time. Just sign up for a class or time only on the class scroll-down option. You will have to make your own numbers and class letters for this event because they won't have any of the novice numbers. If you run time-only you only need a number.

apex-- so should i just sign up for STS.. i have like four other ppl that want to run too? one has a old civic with a a motor swap (ZC) what would he run? then i have a friend with a almost stock RX-7 with just a catback and springs and strutbar, what about him? then a another with a WRX with turbo back, front rear sway, front rear strut springs????? i have to register them all by the dead line.. or should i just run time only , cuz its kinda like novice????? i dont know what to do

my guesses are:

civic w/ a swap: SM

RX-7: probably some SP class (ASP? BSP?)

WRX: STX

i'm sure they can reclass the cars at the event if those are incorrect.

or you can all just run time only, but then you won't get a PAX calculation to see how you do against the entire field (if you care about that).

And why don't you have your friends get a myautoevents registration and let them do it themselves? I'm guessing you're just "registering another family member" for them huh.

and yes the exhaust is free from the cat-back in stock class, you could bolt on a gutter on the end of the cat and that would be legal.

Not true, it still has to meet sound regulations, which I beleive are 104 db at 50 feet from the center of the course.

Well, you are right. BUT, if it does pass the dB then it's fine.

I should get the race pipe to come out the back and weld on a Folgers Coffee can. That would be schweeeeet.

what should i use for the numbers.. i dont want to use tape, so i dont take the paint of the car???? and what time do we have to be there to sign in on sat/sun? do we race sat and sun?

you can use shoe polish on the windows. masking tape won't take the paint off...that's the point of "masking" tape. have fun!

maybe in your region...i know the IT cars that sometimes run here dont meet that.

there's an FSP Scirocco that runs with us (a fast one) who has one of those huge Beck's cans on the end of his pipe. there's also an HS jetta with a coffee can. must be an old VW thing.

according to the local guys im gonna be stuck in FSP or SM this season due to my mods

AEM SRI, Sparkco Wires, NGK B5RE, MSP Flywheel, MSP Clutch, 2.5" Cat-Back (loud as all hell), OBX SS 4-1 Header, Random Tech High Flow Cat, TWM Short Shifter, Kartboy Bushing, AWR Polyurethane Motor Mounts, Energy Polyurethane Rear Sway Bar Bushings, Tein S-Tech Springs, 16" Rota Slipstreams w Kumho Vicotracers. If i can get the money together i'll also be running Tokico Illumina 5 ways instead of the HPK setup.
