"whistle"???

so, Iv'e noticed a weird noise when I shutoff my P5, in the garage....

it kind of "whistles", for about 2 seconds after shut down....

"ssshhhhhhheeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" from high to low pitch..

any ideas what could cause that? Vacuum releated maybe? (crazy)

Do you have an intake/open filter on it? They whistle when you shut them off with an open filter.

no, but I did jsut drop a brand new K&N into a few days ago.... I suppose that could be it! (ugh)

My ETS intercooler started whistling on me once (when it hit a certain frequency; due to engine rev). Turned out that where the IC meets the coldpipe was warped, and the flange in between acted like reid and made it whistle...

okay guys, he's said he doesn't have an open intake. That said, have you checked all of your intake/exhaust connections for leaks?
