Hey guys I want to know if anyone has experience buying lowering springs off Ebay for there P5? Or should I stick with the more expensive Eibach springs?

Also I live in San Diego and I want to know if anyone knows where there is a good "import shop" that will install some stuff on my car for me?

THANKS! TO ALL

I bought my sprint springs off ebay, no probs whatsoever. I dont know about the no name brands, but you usually get what you paid for. btw i paid 140 shipped, sprints usually run 160 plus shipping from what Ive seen.

if you're in SD/Cali you could talk to RodsCaliP5 or FC3s Boy
they should be able to get you most anything at a price comparable to eBay...

the type of springs you want depend on how much comfort vs drop you want. if you're more comfort, go with the Racing Beat springs (P5 specific, not just MSP springs) but if you're looking more performance go Sprint, Eibach, etc. to each his own but if you search through the suspension forum threads you should get a good idea of other people's experiences. talk to either of the two mentioned above and they can help you as well...

im selling some msp racing beat springs if your intested, i'll let them go for 75 bucks. They only have 26k miles and will lower your car .75 inch.

let me know.

I have dropzones from ebay on mine. Very nice ride, a bit on the stiff side though. I like them, rides like my bike. Only problem I have is, it lowered it about 2" and is going to be a problem when i get 18's. All 4 tires tires are slightly tucked. I had a guy who wanted to trade his msp's for a hood prop kit, but i never heard from him after he offered to trade. o well.

I completly agree about dropzone and the stiffness. I am running 17s and have no probs. I will be upgrading to tein springs once I have money.

don't bother, they will try to charge an arm and a leg to get em installed. Dealer wanted to charge me 100 per spring and I was out of there and working on mine with a friend. Finished and looks nice.
