Which Rims?

OK, after your guys help I am going to go with a different rim. I am either going to do the Motegi MR8 or MR15 in a 17" since they both have a 42mm offset. Tell me which one looks better, and if anyone can Photochop it for me to show me what looks better I would appreciate it! I would, but I am work. :(

I like the MR8's...

Hell, I like the factory wheels you already have on the car too.

Lookin' good!

Here they are Photochopped for ya.

Hey man, here's a rough rendition of what you asked for.

Regarding the size, it's kinda inaccurate to have it photoshopped but it does give you an idea of how it would look. I'd prefer neither but the 8's do look slightly better. The 15's have too many spokes. I personally do not like too many spokes. Plus, have fun cleaning those wheels too. It would be quite a hassle.

Lowering

One concern I have for you is if you ever plan on lowering the vehicle. According to Rishie's Fitment Recipe the 42mm offset will probably rub and more likely will if you lower it. If you could take them to a shop and have about 3mm shaved off of the hub to make a 45mm offset, then I would go with the MR-8s.

In my opinion, none of them. I would prefer to run a Rota over a Motegi. Those are heavy ass Taiwanese wheels.

The best thing to do would be to get an Enkei Tuning wheel or something. PM me your budget and I'll compare what I can offer you in similar styles. Maybe even better styles. Motegis look cheaper than they cost to me.

Just an opion though. I'm just informing from my experiences.

Frankly the only Motegi wheels that will work are the MR-8 and MR-1. They are the only two that come in 17,7 +42. This will require the use of a

205/40/17 to not have problems. Shoot me the price you can get them for and I'll see what I can do for you. I have several other options but it comes down to your budget.

Thanks, Rishie

if you want to see the motegi's on your car go to www.americanracing.com and click on the link to the wheel guide in the upper left corner...they have the motegi's in the guide and you can see what it'll look like lowered and in your cooler, since you can change the ride height and the vehicle color
