How exactly do I find that out, and what is the magic number for our cars?

Ahh, thank you. I won't buy them from Subydude, since they don't have them in stock, so I hope that Auto RND has them, or can get them. Plus, I would rather pay to a vendor on this forum than anywhere else.

Yikes. That's like a rubber band stretched around a spool of thread. (boom07)

I can't believe you would even consider that with how bad Michigan roads are. You're going to destroy those wheels.

Now you've really got me considering not going with 18s. Damnit Kane, always having to throw logic into things.

My friend Nick has a 03 Civic on 35 series tires and 17 inch rims, and hes had no trouble in three years. But now, considering the ride, tire size, and road conditions, I'm reconsidering it...

LoL... sorry, man. It's just the way I am. (shrug)

I'm not even going to go 18" on my car and my tires are 1" taller than yours.

An '03 Civic is probably a lot lighter than your car.

No need to apologize, I really appreciate and respect your input.

UPDATE:

I was just in contact with SubyDude, and those Rotas in the color, bolt pattern, and offset are a special order only, and i would need 20 pieces to get them made. I am still waiting (and hoping) that Rishie can come through and possibly get me a set of those, otherwise I think I'm gonna get the Konigs.

Kane, do you think I could run 40 series on those rims and not have any problems? I see Tony with the orange MSP has 40s on his 18s and I was wondering if I could possibly go that way too.

I think the Konigs would go well with your paint job. And good choice with the NeoGens, I have them and they are great! I'll be getting another set when these wear out.

Yeah, 35 series is the best fit for 195, 205 and 215 section widths. A 40 series would be too tall and make your speedo read too slow, so you'd probably get more tickets.

215/40-17 is about perfect.

Thanks. So with the 35s I should have the speedo reading close to stock?

I'm looking around, I am finding other styles of wheel that I like besides these. Actually those 5zigen Proracer GT+ in Hyper Black would be pretty nice too.

Yep. 205/35-18 is the closest (if anybody even makes those).

Incidentally, 195/25-20 is really close to stock, too. :D

Just paint the outer edges black, since there is no room for tires.(shocked)

I have 17 x 7.5 with 40 series tires on my car. It is lowered on K sports and I wouldn't have it any other way.
