Hey so I got this lovely 98 626 lx from for free, was literally handed the title
but also my boss is trying to get rid of some cars and one happens to be an 88 or 89 626 2.2l turbo intercooled five speed sedan
I've driven the old one, runs fairly well for not having started for three years... He's selling for $800 since everything is in good condition. Also barely any rust iirc.
And here's the deal with the newer one, the timing belt snapped. I know it's a non interference being the 2.0 fs-de engine, but it is also a 5 speed with leather seats, cruise control, and more modern looks. It's also had the stuffing beat out of it, and I don't have a damn clue what else is wrong with it.
So I'm wondering, what one would you guys keep? Would you think if I fixed the newer one I might be able to sell it and cover my costs for the old one or would I be happier with the new one?
Pic of what the old one pretty much looks like exactly (no pics of that one)
and my current one I haven't really touched yet
