which longer-reach, step-colder spak plug to get?

I don't want to start another longer-reach vs standard-reach debate. After some forum reading, I've decided to give longer-reach a tray while continuing to use step colder.

"ZFR7F-11" would seem to be the one. It's longer-reach and step colder, but several posts indicate that it has too big of a gap to bring it down to the more suitable gap range of .028-.032. Is bringing the gap down really a concern? Is there another step-colder, longer-reach spark plug I can buy instead?

Get the ZFR7F plugs with out the -11 suffix. They will come with .32 gap instead of .44. They are available through Napa. The Napa part number is NGK 5913. That's the best option for a 1 step colder, copper/nickel plug for our cars.

Is the ZFR7F (non-11) still a Longer Reach plug?

Well, that depends on what you have been running I guess. Both the zfr6f-11 & zfr6f have the same reach as the stock spark plug (pzfr6f), but they are copper/nickel and are 1 step colder. The zfr7f & zfr7f-11 are the same except the gap is different. They are all listed as extended projection.

I think I'm running the BKR7EIX, which are standard-reach, step-colder, iridium. Ideally, I'd like to switch to longer-reach version of this plug, but NGK told me that such a plug is not produced.

Sounds like the ZFR7F (non-11) is the best choice so far.

same, ZFR7F. installed with stage1.. loved em. went stage3 and got another set of them (if youre running higher boost; IE over 12psi.. then gap your plugs closer to .028 then the .032)

o'reilly's has them on order but generally not in house.. 4$ a piece i think

The ZFR7F (NGK 5913) plugs don't seem to be available in Canada...anymore. Napa (Canadian) has no listing for it, nor do other automotive retailers. One clerk I talked to called his NGK supplier and was told that a search in the supplier's system for "ZFR7F" came up as "obsolete".

Looks like a discontinues plug, or discontinued in Canada anyway.

I can still get some on Ebay, shipped from US. Shipping is more than the plugs are worth, but What The Hell. Maybe I'll get 8 instead of 4, for my next replacement.
