Which kind of oil and what intervals and question about SRI

So I am coming up on my oil change in about 2K miles. What kind of oil do y'all use and at what intervals?
Has anybody used Mobil 1 Syn. or Amsoil?

I am also thinking of getting a Cobb SRI. Does this help improve mileage by leaning out the a/f mixture? Is this something dealers will install? Also will this void my warranty?

Thanks...
Oh and btw I have an 07 MS3 :)

an intake isn't going to help mpgs. the ECU will compensate for the added air by increasing fuel and thus creating the bump in power you'll see. add in a nice sound, better throttle input and your own right foot will likely bring the mpgs down a notch (naughty)

I guess i'm gunna have to be the "search function" nazi. The whole oil subject has been beatin to death(deadhorse) Mobil 1 is good i run Penns. Platnum, Ams oil i believe is one of the ones that will throw up red flags if you pop ur block and mazdas tests ur oil.

I run Mobil 1 5W-30 and change it at 5,000 mile intervals. Used oil analysis indicates that I could run it 1,000-1,500 miles further but I've decided to err on the side of caution. Pennzoil Platinum works equally well.

I use Royal Purple 5W30. I change my oil every 3000 miles, actually I always change it before so I don't go over. It's a little over the top, but I love my car, and if I have learned anything from being a helicopter mechanic it's that preventative maintenance is the key to keep something performing it's best for a long time. Here is a UOA I had done recently.
