I think there will be a meet in the summer, just the time to do it. But why hold off for 6 freaking months? Come to the January meet. I expect to see everyone who said they would be going to the January meet back in the November Ocala Meet thread, to be there too!

14-15 weekend
21-22 weekend
and 28-29 weekend...someone make a poll for that
since we already know what month we're going we might as weell pick the date now

also, is it gonna be something like one person in charge of food supplies, or everyone brings something??

If I'm not mistaken, the Superbowl is Jan 29th, so I think we should not include that weekend. And, 10 people out of 16, while the percentage is good, it is not nearly enough people to say "yes, we are going to have it there". I say we keep this poll open for another two weeks. That will be enough time to have a definitive answer as to location. Anyone after that will have to either decide if they are going to that place, or not. Not to mention that it will still give us three weeks minimum to decide on the date, and take time off for the holidays. We should just have a little patience for everyone who, unlike us, doesn't check the forum every day. It gives them the ability to cast their votes, as well.

Well, I AM a football fan. And since the Raiders are not playing this year (local high school team fromt he School for the Blind and Deaf is subbing) I could care less about the super bowl....

Just noticed, the super bowl will be February 6th, so the 29th is an option, unless people are leaving a week early to go to detroit for it.
