1990 Mazda Miata
I have been trying to find the R-Package Front Lip and Rear lip for my 1990 Miata. The only place I have been able to find it is at the dealer and I'm not interested in paying $180 for the front and I know it can be purchased somewhere else for cheaper, but through all of my internet searching I have been unable to find a cheaper price. Can anyone help me on this one. For those of you who aren't quite sure of what pieces that I'm talking about, here are some pics.

Here's the rear lip Black bottom lip of course

How 'bout $110 from Trussville?I want one too, but I've not found anyone willing to just give me one! I also just saw that they have a special for the front and back together for $195!! Sooooo tempting!

Yeap, thank you Foolish. But, now I've found the rat's back racing lip, so I plan on buying that instead. If things don't work out, I'll buy the R Package Lip.

Rat's Back closed their doors a while ago. You might have a hard time finding one of those. It's my understanding that the R package lips are also being discontinued, so I wouldn't wait too long if I were you.

Oops, I mean I've already found the Rat's Back Lip. Just debating if I want to spend the extra dough. Either way, the R Package lip is still nice looking.

As you probably know, the Rat's Back is highly sought after since they didn't make them for very long. If you're getting a decent deal on a used one, you could probably sell it for a profit if you decide you don't want it.

I will also add that I like the way the front looks. I'm not too crazy about the back, but I can't use it anyways 'cause I got a Da'lan hitch. The front really does help at highway speeds ~70mph. but on the track, it really helps as I came down the front straight at VIR at 110mph :p Still got a little light, though.

I just recently bought a oem trunk lip spoiler, already painted in classic red. I know a Miata doesn't need a spoiler, and especially at the slow speeds I drive, but I couldn' resist the bling-bling :D

I did not know that Mazdamotorsports.com sold for so cheap, but don't you have to be a registered racer of some sort?

You would be correct. But to get that status, all you have to do is fax in copies of the race results for just 2 races in one season. So, autocross twice and you are good. :)
